Case Study

Klyne Air, Norwich International Airport, Norwich

With the acquisition of Saxon Air by Klyne Air in 2009 and the awarding of a 10 year contract as the preferred handling agent to supply ground handling services at Norwich International Airport, a new Business Aviation Centre and hanger facility was required.

The new Business Aviation Centre and the offices within the two hangers required a full air conditioning and ventilation system install.

A VRF heat pump system simultaneous heating and cooling system along with a heat recovery ventilation system with a heat pump system attached was designed for the project. Mitsubishi VRF system providing simultaneous heating and cooling was selected. The systems were split into individual zones to allow the client to let out areas and proportion energy costs to the tenants occupying the building.

Works included
  • Heat recovery ventilation system
  • Full VRF air conditioning installation
  • Full controls system with LCD controller for main building
